A teacher recently invited me to ask myself, “What do I want in this season of my life?”
It got me thinking. Maybe I don’t need to know where I want to be in 20 years. Maybe I don’t even need to know where I want to be in 2 years.
Our circumstances are always changing. Life is always evolving. Why do I spend so much time focused on what I want in the future when a million things could come along and change that?
If I continue to build seasons of life that I love, I’ll end up building a life that I love. So, what do I want now? What do I want for this phase of my life? For just this season I’m in right now?
What do you want?
Turn, turn, turn and the seasons change…
